The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles hosted a Dinner Reception in honor of the Azerbaijan Special Olympics 2015 team.
The Special Olympics World Summer Games 2015 is the largest sporting event taking place in the world this year. So far the Azebaijan athletes have won 16 medals (8 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze).

Dr. Mombi Thairu, President of the International Multicultural Society for Sport & Entertainment (IMSSE) attended the Milken Institute California Summit 2014.
The Milken Institute Summit -California brought together key members of the state's business and policy leadership to forge partnerships and devise solutions to address the state's biggest challenges. This invitation-only event, hosted by the Institute's California Center, assembled state leaders in business, government, academia and philanthropy, focused on determining a roadmap for growth and future investment to ensure the state remains a destination for business and innovation.
